The Northern Lights townhouses located on Whistler Mountain are ideal for group and family ski vacations thanks to their spacious layout, full kitchens, comfortable bedrooms and additonal extras that will make your trip one to remember for a lifetime.
Each unit at Northern Lights has been individually furnished with a variety of styles available. However, even though each home is slightly different, you can be assured that all are well-equipped with full gourmet kitchens, lounges with modern entertainment equipment and fireplaces and open-plan living and dining areas so that you are able to spend valuable time together. Some units also boast games rooms, or TV studios so that kids can hang out and watch a movie while parents relax elsewhere. Some Northern Lights townhouses also include their own private hot tub so you can unwind with a soak after a day on the slopes. Scout loves the flexible bedding, with plenty of twin beds and bunk beds for families.
The Northern Lights townhouses are situated above the Westin hotel in Whistler, with step access directly to the slopes. Guests can then ski all the way back down to these stairs when they want to return to the house. Note: they are a decent set of stairs so might not be suitable for the smallest kids or those not willing to work up a sweat before they start skiing.
The townhomes are also around 10 minutes walk from the main village of Whistler which has ski lifts, bars, restaurants, shops and a wealth of other amenities. A car is recommended for families who seek convenience - there is no shuttle bus to this area.
The Northern Lights units are an ideal option for large families and groups who are a bit more self-sufficient and want a little more of a luxurious townhouse stay.
