While the rooms and decor of Hotel Alpenruh are fairly standard, the friendly staff, dedicated service, great on-site restaurant, sauna and epic mountain views more than make up for the simplicity. Most packages include breakfast and a set course dinner and we found the food to be of excellent quality. Hotel Alpenruh boasts panoramic views across Jungfrau, Eiger and Mönch which will leave you awestuck time and time again.
The hotel is ideally located right next to the cable car so you only have to walk a few seconds with your gear before heading up the mountain. At the end of the day you can ski to within meters of the ski locker room.
As we've come to expect with European ski hotels, the bedrooms are on the smaller side (compared to USA) but they are exceptionally clean and have excellent views from the private balconies.
