Hotel Daniela is a boutique hotel with just 23 rooms. The building dates back to 1600 however recent renovations have created a warm and inviting place to stay. Guests can expect a professional yet friendly welcome from the lovely team of staff as well as access to a great range of facilities.
The rooms at Hotel Daniela include single, double, triple and family rooms, and some can be connected to create family and group areas. Each hotel room is equipped with standard hotel facilities such as a TV with cable channels, a telephone, minibar, safe, hairdryer, free toiletries and bathrobes. Thanks to the hotel's recent renovations, bedrooms are bright and airy throughout and feature plush, comfortable furnishings to make it cosy and casual. Some rooms have fireplaces. A few of the rooms have views of the Matterhorn.
One of the highlights of Hotel Daniela is the excellent breakfast that is served up each morning before you hit the slopes. Rather than a light, cold continental breakfast, Hotel Daniela serves up a delicious selection of hot and cold dishes that are sure to fill you up ready for a day of action and adventure. There is a lovely lounge area for relaxing in the afternoon and evening.
While Hotel Daniela now has its own small spa on-site (for adults only). Guests can therefore enjoy the warmth of a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi to soothe away their aches and pains after a day on the slopes.
Hotel Daniela is located around 7-10 minutes from the ski lifts (depending on which one you are going to) and there is a bus stop just a few minutes walk away with buses every few minutes to the lifts. Many guests take an electric taxi to get to the lifts at a cost of about CHF15. The hotel also benefits from having ski storage on-site with heated boot warmers making sure you feet are toasty for the walk the next morning. There is a rental store opposite the hotel.
