Evolution provides a fantastic base for skiers who aren’t fussed about being right in the thick of the action at Whistler Village. It’s in a quieter and less hectic location than the party-centric main village, but it still retains a youthful vibe – making it the perfect choice for urbanites who appreciate modern conveniences.
Evolution is one of many great things that happened to Whistler thanks to the 2010 Winter Olympics (others include the upgraded slopes and mountain facilities, as well as the installation of the PEAK 2 PEAK gondola). Its Creekside Village position is perfect for skiers (see Legends Whistler for an area description) as it’s a mere one minute walk to the Creekside Express Gondola in the morning. And in the afternoon, you can nearly ski right up to the building via the bottom of the Dave Murray Downhill (not for beginners).
The condos themselves are a great size, and feature double-sided fireplaces (which front both the living and bedroom areas) to make them romantic and cozy. Each condo also has a full kitchen, as well as laundry appliances and private balcony. And all of the bedrooms have king beds – even the double rooms have two kings. There are unfortunately no twin bed options available, but sleeper sofas allow for additional guests. Condos feature valley and forest views which provide a lovely alpine feel to your ski vacation.
Meanwhile, the building also has many great facilities including a games room, media room (for watching movies), an outdoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam rooms, and a decent gym - everything you need for a self-catered stay.
