Address Nagasaka is one of the few ski-in ski-out properties in Nozawa Onsen. This makes it perfect for families or couples wanting hassle-free access to the slopes.
While most of the accommodation in Nozawa Onsen is located in the heart of the village (at the bottom of a steep hill), Address Nagasaka is right next to the Nagasaka ski base area – you can literally ski to its front door. Just be aware that you will need to check-in at its sister property (Address Nozawa), which is located in the village.
Decorated in a contemporary Western style, Address Nagasaka consists of two one-bedroom apartments and two two-bedrooms apartments. The bedding is made up of twin, double and queen beds (Western style). All four apartments have a separate living room and kitchen, as well as a dining area with views of the mountains (either valley or slope). The kitchens have all the basics – enough that you can even cook dinner. It must be mentioned that Address Nagasaka is best for those wanting convenience over luxurious comfort. With only a small dining table and dining chairs in the living room (where the TVs are), the living areas aren't the most relaxing. They are also quite small. But if what's important to you is being able to step out the door onto the slopes, then you can't go past Address Nagasaka.
Given its location, the kitchen facilities in the apartments at Address Nagaska are very useful – as all of Nozawa Onsen's village bars and restaurants are a ten minute walk away, down a steep hill. However, the popular après bar, Craft Bar, is located right underneath Address Nagasaka – which is an excellent spot for post-ski hydration. But don’t fret – it only stays open until 8pm (or 10pm at the latest) so it won’t keep you from getting to sleep in your cozy apartment.
With only four apartments, this property gets booked out early. So if you want to stay here, you will need to plan ahead.
