Built in 2008 Les Suites de la Potinière is located within steps of Courchevel’s heart, La Croisette. Once an old hotel it was completely renovated to a contemporary, urban boutique style hotel. Finishes are super luxurious but also minimalist, like an expensive five star hotel in a large city one would be forgiven for forgetting you are in the French Alps.
Each of the 15 suites are huge at 55 to 90 m2, some of which can interconnect, there is also a 450 m2 penthouse, should space be something you require a lot of. Most of the rooms have street or building views, with only those on the highest floors having any sort of mountain or slope side views.
There isn’t a restaurant, however breakfast can be delivered to rooms at an extra charge. There is a lounge bar area which offers tapas style food, and where there are often parties on a Friday.
There are a few facilities including a small indoor pool, as well as a sauna, steam room, and two treatment rooms for massage. The valet at the ski storage is very helpful, and one of the great bonuses of this hotel is its location, just a few steps from Le Croisette, Courchevel's ski base. The shuttle service that the hotel runs can take you around Courchevel village. However, due to the hotel's location, you'll hardly need it.
