Family owned since 1810, quaint Hotel Tiefenbrunner has a rich history having been used as a brewery, stable, guest house and even a hospital during the war. Today it’s just tourists and skiers who stay here. Located right in the heart of Kitzbühel’s old center all of the towns famous restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance, and so is the Hahnenkamm gondola. You can also take a shuttle that regularly stops behind the hotel.
Hotel Tiefenbrunner has 76 rooms some of which, owing to the hotel’s traditional Austrian style might feel a little outdated, but it’s made up for by their ample size, cleanliness and comfort. It has several room categories from single rooms and double rooms through to suites and family suites. Although its last major renovation was in 2008, the hotel is well kept and maintained so there are no signs of aging and disrepair. The comfort Deluxe Double rooms have been recently renovated in an modern alpine style.
The hotel has three restaurants and a cosy bar serving reasonably priced food and drinks. There’s a good wellness area and spa with treatment rooms, pool, sauna, steam bath, gym and treatment rooms.
