Antlers at Vail is one of those rare finds in Vail—comfortable, convenient, and still reasonably priced for such a premium location. Located right along Gore Creek in Lionshead Village, the property offers condominium-style accommodation that feels more like a home than a hotel.
Each condo varies slightly in décor and layout since they’re individually owned, but most feature full kitchens, gas fireplaces, private balconies, and spacious living areas—perfect for families or groups of friends planning a ski week. Daily housekeeping is provided, although dish service is not included; longer stays of five nights or more receive a mid-week full clean. A shared laundry facility is available, while select larger condos feature private washer/dryers.
Choose from Gold, Platinum and Diamond-rated residences, with the rating reflecting the level of renovation, finishes and furnishings. Gold offers best value, spacious and comfortable, but expect more traditional interiors. Platinum is a sweet spot – a good choice for families wanting a slightly more updated condos without paying premium. Diamond level are the most recently renovated and offers premium finishes and furnishings.
The ski access couldn’t be easier. Guests can walk just a couple of minutes to the Eagle Bahn Gondola (150 yards), meaning you can skip the parking hassle and be on the slopes in no time. Epic Mountain Rentals provides complimentary on-snow ski valet for Antlers guests, with equipment stored at the base of the Lionshead Gondola. Guests can leave skis at the base and collect them the following morning.
Back at the Antlers, the outdoor heated pool and two outdoor hot tubs overlook Vail Mountain, offering a perfect place to unwind after a day on the snow. There is also two saunas, fitness centre, heated changing rooms, and plenty of additional amenities including complimentary snowshoe rentals and loaner sleds. Antler’s Pantry offers additional items extra kitchen appliances or baby equipment on-demand. The atmosphere here is relaxed and friendly, with a warm local team that goes out of their way to help—whether arranging ski rentals, recommending restaurants, or helping with grocery delivery. There is a complimentary winter shuttle to the grocery store and other destinations around Vail.
While it doesn’t offer the bells and whistles of Vail’s luxury hotels, Antlers at Vail makes up for it in warmth, space, and convenience. It certainly ticks all the boxes for families seeking an easy and stress-free ski trip.
