The first condominium hotel in Sun Peaks Village, the Cahilty Hotel & Suites is the former Nancy Greene’s Cahility Lodge which opened in 1995 by power Ski couple, Olympian Nancy Greene and Al Raine.
Cahility Hotel & Suites has 175 rooms ranging from traditional hotel rooms to three-bedroom suites. Each are individually owned, however all the rooms feature standard furnishings. Although the hotel and rooms feel a little dated they are a decent size and comfortable. Most of the rooms are equipped with gas fireplaces, and either have kitchenettes or full kitchens. There are numerous interconnecting rooms which are great for families or group of friends. Because of its location, just a little separate from the heart of the village, it feels peaceful and quite.
The lodge features numerous facilities and amenties including an outdoor and indoor hot tub, a well-equipped fitness room, yoga classes, slope-side secure ski storage, laundry facilities, and a heated and secure underground parking. It also has pet-friendly rooms.
There’s an on-site restaurant called Cahilty Creek Bar & Grill (burgers, pizza, steaks, salad etc). Guests can also enjoy coffee and hot chocolate from the machine in the lobby which is a great way to warm up when you get back from the slopes.
There are so many things to love in Cahilty Hotel & Suites including the friendly and homey atmosphere which makes it an excellent choice if traveling with the family, or as an older couple.
