Chalet-Hôtel La Marmotte, La Tapiaz & Spa is a luxurious hotel that has absolutely everything you need for a great ski vacation. The hotel is situated right across from the slopes, meaning no trudging around the village with all your gear! The ski lifts are located right outside of the hotel so you can be out and exploring the Portes du Soleil ski resort in no time.
The hotel is split into two sections, with the La Marmotte rooms being located in the more traditional original building and the spa and La Tapiaz rooms being situated in another. Guests can access the second building via an underground walkway so you can reach your room warm and dry no matter the weather.
Scout's favourite part of the hotel is easily the lounge area done in traditional chalet style with log burning fireplaces and huge comfy couches. It would be hard to get motivated to go anywhere else after a relax here.
All rooms are equipped with a modern ensuite bathroom, a flatscreen TV and free WiFi and some rooms even boast an in-room log burner for additional warmth and comfort. Guests can choose betweeen simple double bedrooms and larger suites which include extra seating areas and separate bedrooms. The suites in La Tapiaz are modern and spacious and perfect for families.
During the winter season all guests have access to a secure ski locker which means you don't have to worry about squeezing your gear into your room.
When you're not out skiing or dining in one of the hotel's (four!) restaurants, you can enjoy the luxurious spa which features a heated indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, sauna, hammam, a sensory shower and massage rooms.
