Chalet St Georges is a traditionally-designed four-star ski hotel in Megeve with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The minute you walk into the hotel it feels like you've stepped back in time arrived in a quaint, French country club. While some may feel it's a bit dated or old-school, others will appreciate the level of detail in the antiques, the comfort of the large leather lounges, the wooden ceilings and the old-school paintings and decorations. For the record - we love it.
Each room at Chalet Saint Georges has been individually designed with rich furnishings and unique antiques to give it a distinctive style. Bedrooms include large, comfortable beds and ensuite facilities, while suites boast private balconies overlooking the slopes.
The on-site restaurant, run by head chef Jérôme Blanchetière, offers a wide selection of cuisine including local specialities and fine dining options. The restaurant has a vintage feel and you can enjoy dining here night after night thanks to the range of delicious dishes.
After returning from the slopes you can relax in the hotel lounge with comfy sofas and a roaring fireplace. Alternatively, enjoy the games room on the first floor for a fun and peaceful evening in. Chalet St Georges also boasts an on-site spa with sauna and massage treatments available.
The location of Chalet St Georges is fantastic. Situated just on the edge of the main village pedestrian area it is easy to walk to everything in the village and the main lifts.
