Hotel Col Alto is an exceptionally well run ski hotel in Corvara Village at Alta Badia Ski Resort. Owned by the same family for three generations, the hotel has seen its fair share of renovations. Today there is little evidence of any traditional Tyrolean style, and following a final refurbishment project the rooms are all completely renovated in a modern mountain style (though a few suites still remain to be renovated.)
The hotel offers half-board ski breaks which are fantastic value as the breakfast buffets are delicious and the innovative cuisine served at dinner with fresh, local produce is top notch. There is a great variety of dishes from traditional Italian cuisine to modern, healthy options so there is something for everyone.
Hotel Col Alto also features a few bars to suit all of its clientele. There is the lively Iceberg Bar with tasty cocktails and modern music, a quieter hotel bar and the relaxing cigar lounge with comfy leather sofas and a cozy atmosphere.
There are a range of rooming options at Col Alto from simple double rooms to large suites some of which even boast their own wellness facilities. Each has a stylish, alpine design and some have excellent mountain views. Some rooms do have building views, or forest areas.
