Situated right in the heart of Creekside Village, First Tracks lays claim to the highly competitive title of ‘Closest Hotel to a Gondola in Whistler’ (although it’s a close shave between First Tracks, Legends and the Pan Pacific). Not only is First Tracks close to the gondola, it’s also right next to a Starbucks, a grocery market, a number of restaurants, and the ever popular après spot – Dusty’s.
The building itself is huge – consisting of 84 condos in total. First Tracks is a relatively new addition to the Whistler accommodation scene, but already it’s proven popular with families who are looking for an upscale home away from home in the heart of Whistler Creekside. First Tracks is the most luxurious of the three condo complexes in the area. And like the building itself, the condos are also on a grand scale. Think: high ceilings, large living areas and huge bathrooms – all complimented with high-end furnishings and finishes. All of the condos feature fireplaces in the living rooms, and the decor has been done in an elegant mountain lodge style, with stone, slate and wood finishes complementing the rich leather and dark fabric furnishings. Twin bedding is available in most of the units, as are additional den spaces (perfect for families).
Stainless steel appliances in the kitchens are a gourmet’s dream come true, while the large dining tables would make feeding a family easy. Some of the condos also have fabulously big windows beneath vaulted ceilings – perfect for watching skiers come down the mountain (for those with slope-side views).
An outdoor hot tub is on-site for guests to enjoy after a day on the slopes, spacious ski lockers to store all your gear and a concierge to help with anything you'll need during your stay.
