Founders Pointe and Fraser Crossing are identical buildings that are about 200 yards from the Zephyr Express lift, and ideal for groups of friends or families who are looking for good value ski accommodation in Winter Park in a great location. The only difference between the two buildings is the colour scheme but everything else is the same. Neither are particularly luxurious or fancy, in fact the properties can feel a little soul-less as the long corridors are usually empty, but the condos are certainly a great choice.
You can choose from a variety of condos ranging from a Standard Studio to a Deluxe Two-Bedroom unit. They’re quite spacious and feature a gas fireplace, comfortable beds, and kitchens with stainless steel appliances and utensils. Some of the condos have balconies and beautiful mountain views while others face the village or other buildings. The Premium rooms have wonderfully contemporary decor, with rustic mountain furnishings, while the Standard and Value rooms are a little less stylish (but still cosy and comfortable). Scout recommends that you request a unit on a higher floor so you can enjoy a better view.
Founders Pointe and Fraser Crossing each has its own large hot tub and grill area, a small ski locker and a coin-operated laundry facility.
Founders Pointe and Fraser Crossing are the perfect lodging options if you are not expecting anything fancy or luxurious, but convenient to the slopes and Winter Park Village during your ski vacation.
