The Ski Hotel Galzig has undoubtedly one of the best locations in St Anton. Situated right at the base of the ski slopes it’s just a few steps to the valley station of the Galzigbahn cable car, a few more to the main street and a few more than that to the Rendlbahn.
Ski Hotel Galzig is fairly new hotel and features simple lodge style accommodation, equipped with modern amenities. The hotel is owned and managed by the Alber family, a local traditional family, which also owns three luxury apartments and a lodge right next to the hotel.
The hotel has 21 rooms ranging from double rooms to suites. The rooms and the bathrooms are very spacious, and the junior suite is perfect for couples with two kids. All the rooms are furnished with modern amenities and splashes of earthly colors provide a very light and airy feel. The rooms facing the village might be a little noisy so those on the higher floors especially the ones facing the slopes are a better choice not only because of the noise, but also the great views.
The room rate includes a sumptuous Austrian style breakfast which makes use of fresh ingredients from local farmers. And in the afternoon, after a day of skiing, you will be welcomed by cakes, tea or a glass of wine served at the lounge area. Because the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, you now have an excuse to venture out and enjoy the heavenly dishes in the numerous restaurants that are just a walk away.
Ski Hotel Galzig has a small wellness area which features a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, massage room and gym room. They can also provide massages.
